Once I had finished working around the house this afternoon I took time out to do some work on the brakes. I replaced the brake hose and wheel cylinder. The cylinder was quite straight forward to replace. But the brake hose had a couple of tricky bits not included in the manual. The main problem was removing the clip that secures the hose to the chassis bracket. If you look at the photo of the hose you will see a lug on the top of the bracket (I made it shine so it is easier to see). This is the clip. To remove you pull it upwards. I used a pair L bent pliers to lift it out after applying some penetrating oil to free it up from the chassis mount.
