When out and about I am sometimes asked how much it costs to keep upgrading The 66. The answer is "It depends" My experience is that parts for such an old car are quite reasonably priced, and if you replace only what is essential to keep the car on the road, costs can be quite low. However when I do a repair job I tend to do a reasonably comprehensive job.
For example the cost for doing the brake job is $462NZ. I could lower this cost considerably by not replacing bearings, brake hoses, etc.
