Seat Upgrade

It's a wet day so I am taking time out to update the Blog by posting information about some of the work I have completed.

The front seats in the car were pretty well shot. The covers were torn and the seat frames themselves were broken. I purchased a couple of second hand seats in good condition from Whangarei. I added the padding from the old seats into the replacement ones to make them more comfortable then added new covers. The photos show the original seat beside a replacement one, then the final version in the car. The all up cost was considerably less than buying new vinyl covers, to which I would have needed to add the cost of repairing seat frames, padding etc.
