Brakes lights not working?

If you have checked the bulbs and they are all ok, the most likely problem is that the pressure switch screwed into the front of the master cylinder needs replacing. This is not a major job. The master cylinder is located at the front of the car and is accessed by removing the front right hand wheel. Go to your repair manual for details. You will most likely need to bleed the brakes once the switch has been replaced, but if you are well organised and do the swap quickly you may be able to avoid bleeding. The photos show the switch attached to the Master cylinder, plus a shot of the original and replacement pressure switch. A word of caution - take care when you are tightening the switch into the mater cylinder as it has a tapered thread and you could over tighten thereby damaging the master cylinder. All up cost $20 to $30 and most certainly a DIY repair
